The fact that people drift apart is hard to understand. They may be the most important people in one point but then completely ditch you. You may feel abandoned, but people leave for a reason. The reason may be unrelated to you but it is still a reason. Closeness is not defined or rigid but is as unpredictable as the wind. Time flies and so does feelings. Do not be fed up by the fact that all relationship are not meant to last. Think of it as another stone dropped into your jar of water, filling up the jar to the brim. The water evaporates, so you keep adding more stones. The more stones added, the more your jar fills up. The jar represents life and the stones are experiences of close relationships in your life. The water is the middle zone of navigating who you are. The more experiences you have, the more stable of a person you grow as and the more your personality is defined. Relationships are not easy or perfect but contribute to your life. Relationships are as perfect as writing which has meaning but does not appear perfect.
